Dedicated to supporting and being involved in developing a strong community, we open our doors and empty our walls. Every six weeks we paint the 14 foot wall that hosts rotating art work white and start again. Each time featuring local artists, muralists and photographers. Local bands and DJ's make our openings really memorable and most events involve neighboring restaurants. All events are open to public so next time you see a large crowd hanging out in front of shop, stop by.
Mike Bertino grew up in San Diego, CA where he published a small handful of mini-comics, including a 4 part series called Trigger. Later he moved to Los Angeles for schooling, and in 2007 graduated from Art Center College of Design with his BFA and a full-ride school scholarship. He currently lives in Los Angeles where working as a cartoonist, illustrator, and gallery artist. He and the other featured artist Erin Althea are expecting twins this fall and we expect these kids to be born with paint brushes in their little hands. Erin Althea was born in Torrance, CA. She graduated from Art Center College of Design with her BFA in Illustration. She too was a scholarship recipient and currently works as an instructor at ACCD, as a private instructor for kids, illustrator, and gallery artist.
From Here to There is a collective of artists currently living and working in Los Angeles. Their practices range from photography to collage and include video, sound, and installation. What brings them together is their desire to combine their personal perspectives and various interests to create a greater dialogue through the art that they make. They meet on a bi-weekly basis to discuss ideas both old and new, to hone their practices, and fuel each other through discussions, critiques, and conversations.
we had a great time at the spectrum group show opening. big thanks to the mae shi, ghiant, dj katie byron, and all of the artists who exhibited!

Drew Blood is a YouTube DJ rocking steady in Los Angeles. Drew Spent the first half of his life living in Detroit Michigan, where he was introduced to the world of video production by Mr. Russ Gibb. After attending Art School in Chicago, Drew escaped to the warmer climate of California. After 6 years of running a contemporary art gallery, Drew went underground to develop his technique for mixing internet videos live in a DJ like audio/visual performance. When Drew is not mixing or making art, he likes to explore the city on his bicycle.
